About Me
I’m a former graphic designer turned sacred artist, specializing in Buddhist and Shinto imagery.
In 2015, I self-published an illustrated paraphrase of the Kannon Sutra — one of the most beloved Buddhist scriptures in Japan — and later transformed it into an oracle card deck. I’m currently working on bringing Kannon (the Bodhisattva of Compassion) to life through 3D modeling and video production.
On the digital side, I’m developing an AI-powered dialogue app featuring Kannon, along with meditation and mindfulness apps. These are all coming together under a portal site called ”Rengedo”, currently in preparation for launch.
What drives this work
When I sat down to paraphrase the Kannon Sutra in my own words, I was genuinely moved by what I found — a profound and practical guide to mental resilience that felt surprisingly modern. That experience led me to explore it not as religious doctrine, but as a mental care tool for everyday life.
Now I want to share that with the world.
This is not about missionary work or conversion. It’s about offering the wisdom embedded in the Kannon Sutra as a universal resource for emotional wellbeing — accessible to anyone, anywhere, regardless of background or belief.
The art
Every illustration I create — from the oracle cards to the app visuals — is made entirely by hand, using Adobe Illustrator and Blender.

I was surprised to learn that everything is hand-drawn. My late mother-in-law used to pray to a small Kannon every day — Kannon was her guardian deity. So this encounter feels like a deep and meaningful connection. I look forward to following your work ☺️💐
